Sacramento, CA! The day is August 3 and The 2019 Bible Olympics is on!
There's a few days left to register (June 3, 2019), but you can register yourself and/or your young one by going to sacgenesis.org.
The Biblical Olympics is designed to give praise to God by the study of His Word.
Referencing 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (KJV can I get a little extra credit?)
There will be various events such as the Sword Drill, Books of the Bible Quiz, Memorization Drills, and Pledges.
There is even a Creative Component that encourages participants to praise God with their talents.
Participants can enter in one of four age groups, which have appropriate difficulty levels. This year they've extended the invitation to adults.

The 2019 Biblical Olympics is on Saturday, August 3, 2019!
Here's the day's itinerary:
9:30 a.m. - All PARTICIPANTS ARRIVE (very light snack)
11:00 a.m. sharp - BIBLICAL OLYMPICS OPENING CEREMONY BEGINS
12:30 p.m. - LUNCH
CREATIVE COMPONENT
2:30 p.m. - AWARDS CEREMONY
3:30 p.m. - ADJOURN UNTIL NEXT YEAR
THIS IS A FREE EVENT, so register ASAP, download the 2019 Biblical Olympics Study Guide, invite your friends and family and get ready for a good fun filled family friendly competition!
